Online Policies
No Hassle Guarantee:  If you are ever dissatisfied with your purchase, simply return it. We’ll replace the item or issue a company credit.

Guarantee does not apply to custom or special orders.

Returns & Exchanges
If within 30 days of original purchase, please ship the invoice, item, all packaging and accessories, and a reason for return or exchange back to Chesapeake Dock.

For returns please indicate if you would like the purchase amount refunded to your credit card or if you prefer company credit.

If over 30 days,  please follow the return instructions above.  A company credit will be issued on all returns over 30 days.

No return or credit for custom or special orders.

Please note:
Chesapeake Dock will not pay for return shipping charges unless the return is due to our error on your order.
 
Special Orders and dropships are subject to a 20% restocking fee (unless otherwise prohibited by law).

We will exchange defective units for the same model and style only.
Include all original accessories, warranty card, if applicable, and the original packaging.
Pack the merchandise securely to prevent damage.

Sales Tax:   Why Am I Charged Sales Tax on My Order?
Chesapeake Dock is required by law to charge sales tax in any state in which we have a physical presence. Companies are required by the state and local tax authority to pay sales tax on all items that are sold in or shipped to a location within a state that has a physical presence. We are therefore required to charge sales tax on all purchases made within Maryland and Florida. Disclaimer Product descriptions, typographic, pricing and photographic errors are unintentional and subject to correction. We regret, but are not liable for these errors.

Limited License
Subject to these Terms of Use, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right to access, use and display this Site and individual pages from this Site for your own personal, noncommercial use, provided that you agree to and accept without modification the notices, terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement. We may terminate, change, suspend or discontinue any aspect of this Site, including the availability of any features of the Site, at any time. We reserve the right to change Product pricing, terms, specifications and warranties without notice. While we will make every effort to fulfill all orders, we cannot guarantee the availability of any particular product displayed on this Site. Product prices offered on this Site may vary from other advertised prices due to varying conditions in different geographic markets or distribution channels. The prices displayed on this Site are quoted in U.S. dollars, and such prices do not include shipping and handling or sales taxes, if applicable, which will be added to your total invoice price. Colors
We have done our best to display as accurately as possible the colors of the products shown on our Site. However, because the colors you see will depend, in large part, on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color will be accurate.

Correction of Errors
While our goal is a 100% error-free Site, we do not guarantee that any Materials or other content is accurate or complete, including price information and product specifications. If we discover price errors, they will be corrected on our systems, and the corrected price will apply to your order. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Chesapeake Dock and its parent and affiliates, and its and their respective directors, employees, agents, successors, and assigns harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to your use of this Site.

Termination of Use
We may terminate your access, or suspend your access to all or part of the Site, without notice, for any conduct that we, in our sole discretion, believes is a violation of these Terms of Use, is in violation of any applicable law, or is harmful to the interests of another user, customer, recipient, licensor, content or service provider, us or our parent or affiliates.

Governing Law/Venue
This Site resides on a server(s) in the State of Maryland, USA. This Agreement shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the State of Maryland, excluding its rules governing conflict of laws. You agree that any claim or dispute you may have against Chesapeake Dock or its parent or affiliates must be resolved by a court located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located within Anne Arundel County, Maryland for the purpose of litigating all claims or disputes. Any cause of action you may have with respect to your use of the Site must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises.

Waiver
Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Use shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

Severability

Opt-Out 
Please note that this Privacy Policy applies both to our collection and use of your personally identifiable information on-line as well as offline, but the methods for opting out of receiving promotional materials from us differs for e-mail and postal mailings. If you do not wish to receive special offers and promotional information email from us, please let us know by checking the "no email" preference box when you complete the on-line registration forms. You may also opt out of this promotional email list after you have registered by returning to the account page. Note, opting out of receiving promotional materials by e-mail may not affect your receipt of materials by mail.  
We will take all reasonable efforts to delete your personal information from our database as soon as reasonably possible. Please note that even if you chose to opt out of marketing communications, we will continue to send you important service-related communications (e.g., order confirmation or product safety information). However, these are not promotional in nature. Therefore, you should not expect that all of your personally identifiable information will be completely removed from our databases in response to your requests.

Chesapeake Dock uses the best security available for on-line purchasing. Your privacy and security are very important to us. When you click the "Add to Shopping Cart" button, Chesapeake Dock automatically checks to see that you have a secure connection.
As part of Chesapeake Dock’s privacy and security practices, we do not store your credit card number in your membership file or order history. We request you kindly provide us with your credit card number every time you make a secure transaction.

Our Privacy Policy applies only to Chesapeake Dock and not to other companies' or organizations' sites to which we link or to which you otherwise provide your information.
