Our Story

Chesapeake Dock Outfitters was founded on our familiarity with and love for the Chesapeake Bay and its many tributaries. For us, a dock was where we spent our formative years, where we learned to appreciate and respect this remarkable watershed. Whether it was crabbing from the old Mago Vista pier on the Magothy or casting for white perch at the Sappington’s Marina on the Severn River, we were raised on the many and varied docks of the Bay.

As lifelong residents of the Chesapeake Bay area, we have experienced everything that makes waterfront living exceptional. Consequently, we know the countless hours spent by every family member using the shoreline for recreation, relaxation and waterborne adventure.

We have also grown to understand that living on the water does not come without cost and challenges. Docks face constant punishment from the ever changing weather, making maintenance a necessary chore. We have taken the time to research and in some cases develop products and services that we consider the best. Our mission is to provide products and services that will take away part of the abuse that mother nature delivers.
